The Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering is a joint program by École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETHZ), two leading Swiss science and engineering schools, offering a curriculum, ranging from nuclear reactor physics and radiation protection to thermo-fluid dynamics, reactor safety and materials science, including practical work at the CROCUS reactor.

Students spend:
- First semester at EPFL
- Second semester at ETHZ
- Summer internship at industry or research centres in Switzerland or abroad
- Third semester at Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), a national research centre
- Fourth semester (MS thesis study), mainly at PSI.
